Patrick T. Tortorici, Ph.D.

Dr. Tortorici has a Masters Degree in Military History from Norwich University and a Ph.D. in Public Safety Leadership with a concentration in Homeland Security. He is a recently retired Patrol Lieutenant with the Phoenix Police Department after 25 years of service (including 3 years with the NYPD). Dr. Tortorici is also a Military Intelligence Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army with over 29 years of service and 2 combat deployments. He has prior teaching experience as an adjunct at Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University. Dr. Tortorici is married to Lynnette and has two children. He enjoys Krav Maga, history, hiking, running and found footage horror movies.
